It felt like getting a shot, stung and burned for a second - then nothing. Seems to be healing up fine and I'll replace the starter stud with a smaller one in two weeks or so.
Enjoyed the backstory - but I'll have you know that my town is far more podunk than yours. I have to drive two hours to Lyon for sushi. Nose piercing? Anytime, baby.
